Liver Functioning Test (LFT)

What's Measured:

  • Albumin:

    A protein made in the liver.

  • Total Protein:

    Measures the total amount of protein in the blood, including albumin and globulins, which are primarily produced by the liver.

  • Bilirubin:

    A waste product produced when the body breaks down old red blood cells. The liver processes and removes most of the bilirubin.
